TTLC 2019: Active and Inclusive Engagement
The 2019 Transformational Teaching and Learning Conference emphasized active and inclusive engagement, calling for a spotlight on the connections between the environments instructors create and active and inclusive engagement in teaching and learning. The conference included two days of in-person participation and showcased an inspiring gathering of the Texas A&M teaching community.Program Highlights
TTLC 2019 hosted Dr. Sara Brownell, Arizona State University, as well as Dr. Randy Bass and Dr. Heidi Elmendorf, Georgetown University, for two dynamic keynote plenary sessions. These addresses formed the cornerstone of the conference, completed by a student-faculty dialogue opportunity and more than 90 sessions contributed by Texas A&M faculty across the two-day event.View the program summary.

Celebrating & Sharing Excellence
Every year at TTLC, we celebrate excellence in teaching at Texas A&M University by presenting the annual Presidential Professor of Teaching Excellence awards and the annual University Professorships for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence.Previous UPUTE recipients Dr. Janet Parish, Marketing, and Dr. Vickie Williamson, Chemistry, shared insights and perspectives on active and inclusive engagement in their classroom practices.
