TTLC 2023: Relevance, Opportunity and Influence
The 2023 Transformational Teaching and Learning Conference explored the learning experiences that best prepare graduates for the digital age. This year included two days with invited plenary sessions, a 40th-anniversary celebration of the CTE, interactive participant-driven facilitated sessions following the popular “unconference” trend, and the highly anticipated return of concurrent in-person presentations. The keynote addresses featured George Siemens and David Yeager.Program Summary
Drs. George Siemens and David S. Yeager served as keynote speakers, and the Teaching Excellence Awards Showcase featured TED-style talks from recent recipients of the Presidential Professors for Teaching Excellence(PPTE) and University Professorships for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence (UPUTE). This year’s conference also included a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Center for Teaching Excellence, as well as a full day of concurrent sessions presented by faculty colleagues.
